A Slew of UFO Articles

Maybe the media hasn’t forgotten and they’re making a distinction between UFOs and UAP. That in itself is intriguing possibility, but likely, people just go with the more readily assessable meme when pushing stories. Like aliens. Aliens is a part of this UFO story, even if it’s not about aliens.

Ewok versus Imperial Forces?

The US spent the last 75 years debunking everything alien as weather balloons and swamp gas. Now, it’s hard to get a person to say it isn’t aliens. Where are the skeptics and debunkers on that? Is it suddenly vogue to say, “We can’t rule out aliens?”

This media frenzy is fun to follow. There was a statement in the NYT article, covered previous essay, that suggested the objects seem to appear and disappear from radar. How could that be? Well, here is one explanation, offered by one of my peers at MUFON:

…Since January 2020, we are no longer using “radar” in this country, but rather a thing called ADS-B in which each aircraft has a GPS onboard that is transmitting its precise location and identity in response to the “radar” transmission from the ground. If the radar operator has turned off primary returns to declutter the screen, he will only see the ADS-B transmissions, and will not see birds, balloons, UFOs, and anything that’s not transmitting an official ADS-B signal.

Essentially, this is the friend-or-foe signal that transponders respond to when pinged by a radio query. Now, mind you, that explanation fits commercial aviation. One would hope that the military still uses radar. I mean, our missile detection is based on real time returns, right? I am sure enemy missiles don’t broadcast ‘hello friends’ on their way to the target. But, hypothetically, let’s say other nations know no one in the world is really ‘looking’ at the sky anymore…

Yeah, there is a vulnerability to be exploited.

Is that all this is?

I find it funny to be trying to rule out aliens in the clutter of newspaper articles. I don’t want to be the voice of reason. I want to say ‘it’s aliens!’ Because…
