A Little Low While Being High
It’s amazing the places you will go when you allow yourself. Long before the reboot of Lost in Space brought in space cowboys and horses, there is me and Willie. Not for real, in a real space, but for real, in a space, somewhere this side of the Milky Way… All my recent Lost in Space ‘flashback episodes’ have brought Willie back in mind. I thought, why not share this unreal, little experience… No, I was not high. But it might seem like it!

“Warning, warning…”
‘What is it, Robot?’
“Intruder alert…”
If you’ve ever been on the Jupiter, you know how the panel on the forward window slides open. When you’re in a dream place, you don’t questions things. You just roll with it.
‘It’s just a horse.’
The pilot’s seat turned to reveal the guest star: “Just a horse?” the man said, taking a hit off his self-rolled cigarette. He was clearly a cowboy, and a really old, hardened cowboy at that, with long gray hair tied into a pony tail and familiar face, and his hat was sitting on the copilots flight stick. “Why, Sir! Anyone with half an eye can see that there horse is the most marvelous horse of all the horses in the history of all horses.”
‘Oh. I am sorry, but I have both eyes and clearly can’t see as well as the half eyed person.’
