Alien Conspiracies
Well, I wasn’t going to write about the Antarctica artifact, except in my general search for information, I came across the Sun’s Headline, an old one, and got a bit riled up. Yes, old news can still rile you up. UF-SNOW: Google Earth uncovers enormous ‘alien face’ in Antarctica — and conspiracy nuts think it’s the work of a hidden civilisation. Now, several problems I have here. First, I didn’t misspell ‘civilisation.’ The Sun did. Or, that’s a British thing. Umm, can I blame all of my grammar issues on not being British? Two, UF-Snow?! Come on, that’s not even close to being funny. Three- conspiracy nuts? Now, that’s just dirty pool.
Let’s start with conspiracy nuts.
One: are we talking peanuts, or walnuts? Clearly, my nuts are bigger than Mr. Harry Pettit, author, editor, and Senior Technology and Science Reporter for the Sun’s nuts. I can say that because they’re aiming low with cheap humor to ridicule people. Seriously, it’s wrong to make fun of people, especially if they’re mentally ill, which you’re implying by using derogatory slang, like nuts, and bonkers, suggesting people aren’t right in the head! That’s actually evidence for you not being right in the head? Isn’t it against the law to make fun of people with mental health challenges in the UK? It’s…
