Complicating this story is historic thread that suggests previous cultures may have interacted directly with aliens. Carl Sagan wrote a scientific article on the likelihood of the Sumerians being the first contact culture. It has me wondering why we fell from this idea being the norm to living in a world where we think we’re the only ones.
Interjecting spirituality into this just adds more complexity. It seems reasonable to suggests that all spiritual and religious cultural understandings bring in an element of humans interacting with a non-human intelligence. So, why is it hard to believe in…
