Aliens Reset the World
Tom DeLonge, Blink 182, and UFOlogist introduced an interesting discussion point, have aliens wiped out previous advanced civilizations when humanity failed?
Let’s just dive in. Why have a prolonged build up when most people can access this meme right off the bat. If you are Christian, Muslim, or Hebrew, you know God reset the world with a flood. All cultures have a myth story. Hinduism has some other destruction stories, of warring God’s in flying vimanas destroyed cities with nuclear like weapons. The Tower of Babel and Sodom and Gomorrah. Atlantis. The Aztecs. Göbekli Tepe. There is no shortage of potential memes that provoke this theme. Are we in another end cycle, where their greed and warlike masters have so destroyed the world there has to be another reset to prolong the good? Will the meek truly inherit the world?
In fairness, at the present moment, it seems like we don’t need aliens to destroy the world. Humanity is doing that all on their own. We are rushing into a third world war situation even as you reach this, and if you’re wondering if prevailing calm minds will prevail, we have yet to see evidence of reasonable folks advocating for a peace we can all live with.
