In juxtaposition of a scientist happy to have ‘possibly’ found life, his words, 50/50 chance here, we have the Las Vegas youth whose family reports having aliens in their backyard after law enforcement captures strange light descending. Life or not, the finding of a potentially human inhabitable or tamable world opens up a potential new existence for humanity. The question is, have we demonstrated ourselves wise enough to take the inheritance. Worlds, kingdoms, and ‘many mansions’ perhaps translated as spaceships, are still available, if we’re capable of taking ‘a new world.’ If spreading and caring for life is good, what is war good for?

When it comes to civilian tech, the government is always 50 to a hundred years ahead of the civilians. When it comes to knowledge, you can bet the government is 100 to 200 years ahead of the lay public and academia. Too many inventors and scientists on the leading edge of making new stuff have had bad luck to believe otherwise. If NASA were to announce they have evidence for life tomorrow, on some distant shore we will never…
