UFOs and Aliens
I think I would be rather disappointed if aliens are visiting Earth and it turns out the social landscape of the galaxy, or universe if we dare, turns out to be a mirror of present day, human social complexity. I wouldn’t be surprised. Just, simply, disappointed. I suppose I have an expectation that as technology and society evolves, we progress in ways that are wise and kind towards all. Saying that reveals I am disappointed with humans. This doesn’t mean there aren’t wise and kind humans. I think there are many. Probably many more than end up leading. What if galactic politics looks like Earth politics, then is Star Wars just a metaphor for business as usual?
In a Gaia video, available on youtube, Regina Meredith interviews Timothy Good, who has a rather intriguing history with people in the know of UFOs and aliens. Mr. Good, 79 years old, has written a number of books on UFOs, has been in many a documentaries, is well established in UFO lore, and seems rather down to earth, and credible. He reports having sources that have informed him aliens have given us technology, and not only have we mastered engineering this tech for ourselves, but we have improved on the tech, inserting humanity into galactic politics.
