Soul and Nature
Ancient Civilizations, UFOs, and Science Fiction
The nature of reality is stubbornly evasive. Every generation of man has mistakenly thought they knew it all, and there was nothing more to learn. Humanity seems poised between two infinities where Sci-FI more often than not reflect future facts.
When George Lucas created Star Wars, did he know about the Egyptian mystics known as the Djedi? If remote viewing is a real thing, could Egyptian mystics see the future, and the tuned into Yoda, ‘beings of light we are?’ Is the nature of consciousness such that as our thoughts are broadcasted into the universe at the speed of light, do they time travel back to the past and influence the creation of Djedi? If reality truly is stranger than we think, could this be evidence of a paradoxical future influencing the past?
I am not saying it is. I am not sure if Lucas knew about the Djedi, and I don’t know if anyone bothered to ask him. He was well read, for sure. Joseph Campbell, author of the Power of Myth, certainly offered a great deal of insight in the hero’s journey. Perhaps you have heard me expound up Luke Skywalker and Dorothy of Kansas are essentially the same character.
