Any chance you watched the video I linked to article 1? Dean Radin, anecdotally, shared after every lecture at least 1 'chair holding scientist' would come share an experience 'off the record' because they don't want to lose their position.
Do you know the history of the EEG? Most people don't Scientist should. Hans Berger, who had a paranormal, telepathic experience... of knowing his father died three days before the actual message arrived by courier... went out of his way to try to find a physical signal, like a radio transmission from the brain. While looking for that signal, his peers were openly ridiculing him. He discovered brainwaves. Psychology and neuroscience owes a lot to the paranormal. Whether it is accepted or not, more often than not, from Francis Bacon to present, it has been the interest in proving and disproving paranormal that has advanced science.
given the level of interest in psi, any college campus that holds a class in that, teaching the fundamental rigors of science and allowing students to set up experiments would have a wait list. So, why not let interest and money speak?
