That Darn Cat!
Alright, let’s take a break from my ranting about mental health, economics, UFOs, Afterlife and Ghosts. Let’s deal with the more concerning, and growing phenemona known as, the OWL Kitty. I don’t know if I should be alarmed or amazed. I am actually dumbfounded on how well Owl Kitty has inserted himself into my world. All my domains are suddenly bifurcated into the original cut, John’s cut, and OWL Kitty’s cut… Tri-furcated? And OWL Kitty does it better. Damn it, the next time you see Carly Simon with a black cat on her piano, it will prelude with Bond music.
So, part of me of is baffled at how copyright infringement works. I was recording a Lego building session to send to my son, via YouTube, talking to him and singing, while actually listening to music on YouTube, and my video got banned because damn it, I had a Beatles song in the background. PLEASE, what ever you elevate this to, don’t say I am wanting OWL Kitty banned. I am just saying, I am baffled. My creative efforts get shut down, when seriously, it was just a song in the back ground… But this?! THIS IS BRILLIANT.
And so, I hope that the powers that be allow this. Because one, it’s fun. Two, it actually leads traffic to the original source, so free advertisement! Three, did I say it’s fun? And Four, damn it this is almost funny as that one time…
