Science underestimates, downright diminishes, the power of creativity and dreams. Besides the fact that there are at least a dozen inventions or discoveries that are directly from the dreams of scientists, sewing needle, DNA, periodic table, Einstein’s relativity- fair enough, from a daydream… His words, ‘a thought experiment.’ Nikola Tesla could run a ‘thought experiment’ in a daydream to such perfection he could skip the lab and hand off a working patent. When science dismissed ‘alien abductees,’ even using flattering terms like, ‘oh, they’re just intelligent creative people who gave themselves PTSD like symptoms,’ they missed an opportunity.
