Being Genuine is One Daydream Away

It has been my experience, the more genuine with others I am, the better my life outcomes are. I know this, but putting it into practice has not always happened. There are times I bite my tongue for fear of reprisals. In some circumstances, that might be evidence of discernment. Contrary to popular belief, I tend to be mostly agreeable. I know for a fact, from experience, I can be stupid around women and celebrities. How much time does one need with a celebrity before stupid mask falls off and genuine light shines through?

Is day dreaming a way to break through this wall? Is daydreaming an under utilized bio-technology?

Meeting the biggest crush of my life

Crossing paths with Oliva Newton-John was a reminder I am not cured of stupidity. Fortunately, it was a brief moment where all the speculative day dreams of meeting her on the Oprah wish fulfillment show to sing one duet was utterly and forever crushed. She was super pleasant. She seemed taller in real life. I am sure the halo was corelated by the fact I stopped breathing. I was unable to speak. She did all the dialogue. I opened my mouth and nothing came out. Politely, “Yes, I am Olivia. What’s your name?” I am confident I projected confusion, because I couldn’t recall, much less say, my name. She…
