Fun but Weird

Channeling Ghosts, or Something Like It

So, I read a lot of paranormal stuff as a kid. Saw some movies, for sure. UFO related, mostly. Ancient advanced humans, that may have had psionics. There were some nonfiction, even if mainstream considered it pseudo-nonfiction, as well as a ton of sci fi and fantasy. I never really found my ‘in real life’ group of people that liked this stuff. My family didn’t like this stuff. I had to hide the Ouija Board. Playing with this kind of stuff, that would have been of the devil. Just listening to Morrisey might have been controversial. I played with pendulums and self hypnosis, thanks to the book like The Relaxation Response, by Herbert Benson, along side with Robert Monroe books.

Actually, I had an uncle that loved this stuff, was a real scientist and everything, well known in his Military circles, but he didn’t talk to me until he was on his death bed. I asked him why it took so long, given our compatibility, and he said, in 2005, “You just now got interesting.”

About ten years ago, I was interested in getting a group together to learn and practice Remote Viewing. That resulted in a lot of grief. Essentially, people were saying it was of the devil and I needed to stop trying to bring evil into the world. Seriously? In this day and age? Oh, yeah, I do live in Texas. But seriously?
