Christmas 2023, you and me…
I will share a bit with you. Hope, gratitude, love… If you detect the blues, forgive me. Holidays for me have been mostly blue, and not the blue that comes with clear skies and mystical lights. More like blues, with BB King doing a guitar riff. Humor. I am well, no worries on that score. Seriously, in all honesty, I think I have never been so fortunate. Still, I touch the blues. Maybe playing the blues is the remedy of the soul. I also work in a field that hits this time of year hard. Many folks struggle this time of year. May this small moment for you be calm, may these words be encouragement.
I have some folks I am beholding to. Wow, I am a part of something. A family. MUFON Texas. I don’t know how I got here. But I will share with you what I did with them, because the words are still fair.
I am part of something even bigger. Medium. Who would have thought if you linger long enough in the cafe of life, some folks might actually become fond of hearing from you! When I enter the bar, everyone should yell “Norm!” That’s a Cheers reference. Humor.
