Collaborative Dreaming with AI
Those with the ability to draw are about to be challenged by anyone with the ability to speak. I think I have wanted to draw since a child, and was either insufficiently studious, disciplined, or talented. It may be that one imagines if they have a brain and pencil, they should be able to do draw. It’s not that simple. It’s not just another skill set, but a different way of thinking. But now, with nothing but my words and attentive AI, I can manifest my inner reality.
One of the things I have wanted to do is render my tulpa with art. I want Loxy to have her look. I would like to be consistent at capturing her, from moment to moment, scene to scene, like creating a comic strip of our adventures. AI unleashed may make this dream a reality.
Midjourney’s Discord page allows user to enter a prompt, “backslash imagine,” and then you describe as detailed as you want an idea or a scene, and it renders it in a artistic style that you like. For example, the above image was ‘realistic egyptian goddess with lightsaber, fierce but loving.’ One of four images appeared. You can select one of those for final print, or branch the one you like into four new variations.
