Travels, an autobiography by Michael Crichton was something I picked up way back when. It was a page turner. I kept turning back to the cover to try and determine if it was real or fiction. There are things in this book I have heard from other sources, paranormal sources, and so I wasn’t quite expecting them to be here. So many of us have had experiences and we keep them to ourselves. I kept mine locked tight for the longest. As we experience success in life, are we more open to sharing? No doubt Crichton was successful. This book is strange. It is his life. He lived in Las Angeles, perhaps strangeness should be expected? I can only wonder, were there stranger things that he chose not to write about? It also makes me wonder why he shared what he shared.

Did you know Crichton was a doctor? An MD. He didn’t sell his books and screenplays with Doctor Crichton, though he has definitely earned that. He was born in Chicago, 1942. He died in 2008, in Los Angeles. I suppose all the questions his book Travel evoked in me are just mine to wonder on.
