Did Gene Roddenberry Channel Aliens

For those of you familiar with Star Trek, you may be aware that Gene Roddenberry, the show’s creator, consulted with scientists at a think tank for inspiration about his show. Fewer might know that he participated in seances, speaking to aliens through a medium that may have done more than inspire the one series that has done more to influence television and real life than any other show. Per Ancient Aliens, Roddenberry may have been given the blue prints for the future of the Federation from the Federation itself.

The U.S. military and the CIA sponsored a psychic spy program in 1978, eventually named project Stargate. That was 10 years after Star Trek the original series had aired. I share that with you because before there was a secret, government, psychic spy program, there was another- Skywalker. Oh, sorry, there was a previous, government, secret psychic spy program, in the 1950s, called Project Penguin. Don’t bother googling it. You’ll come up with a movie, Project Penguin, and other presently funded programs about penguins on Google.

I love Penguins, so, not dissing them. Dad joke presented to son: what goes black and white, black and white, black and white, black and white, thump… A penguin rolling down the stairs.

On that note, DuckDuckGo, will take you to some stuff that better fits the bill. Pun intended. At least that took me straight way to a web site discussing the episode. Apparently, I am not the only one having trouble finding links and…
