Did I intuit the idea that the USG position of not informing the American public a strategy to play the aliens into believing we're not interested or studying them? I doubt that would be an effective strategy. The assumption I make is that this phenomena is so vastly superior, there is no military secrets. All is known or knowable, because they can tap into all tech. There is evidence for that with David Fravor encounter where UAP jumped to their CAP point, but do you need evidence to suspect that we have no true firewalls that would allow us privacy from UAPs?
I do not see any benefits to maintaining the secrecy. Further, it seems like the the saturation point of potential believers, thanks to the prevalence of fiction and non fiction discussing this has us on or beyond the tipping point. If the phenomena was holding back due to protecting the illusion that humans are alone, well... isn't that over with?
