Do you pray? When is the last time? More precisely, when is the last time you prayed in a very genuine, heart felt prayer that was for someone else, for health or general well being? Do you have any evidence it worked? Have you ever prayed in a group, with the intent being to help someone very specific? Is there any evidence things improved? When do you suppose was the last time a whole nation prayed? Multiple nations? Has the entire world ever had a prayer where everyone was in unison?

The call for help. April 13th, 1970. These words would be transmitted around the world: “Houston, we have a problem.” Everyone who had a television became riveted to the drama unfolding. There was what, 3.6 billion people on earth? To the best of my knowledge, it was the last time the majority of humans on Earth shared in prayer, hope, or what ever it is humans do when we intend for something wrong to go right… We spoke this truth in our hearts and to our neighbors, and we rallied around the plight of 3 people.

The Apollo 13 crew made it home. They made it home by ingenuity of team work, discipline, duct tape and spit and courage and… a miracle!
