Emotional Flooding, Triggered by UFO Books

Did the face on Whitley Strieber’s book Communion send you into an emotional frantic? Do you know why?

I have found some UFO books are personally hard to read. I don’t know how I will react when I pick one up. Sometimes I am so flooded with emotions that I have to put the book down and walk away. When I first saw Communion, back in the day, in the Walden Book Store at a mall in San Antonio, my flight or fight response was so strong that I don’t remember exiting the mall. The next conscious memory was starting the car to leave. I collected myself, marched back in, got the book, and had a very uncomfortable night of reading. I couldn’t put it down. Have you read Communion?

It’s not all UFO related books. I got through Hunt for the Skinwalker: Science Confronts the Unexplained at a Remote Ranch in Utah, Colm A. Kelleher, George Knapp reasonably anxiety free. I was even showing some bravado with that one, ‘Introduce me to a hitchiker! Take me out to the ranch. Let’s face this head on.’
