Evolving Self
Imagine for a moment you are God. Do not worry if God allows for this or even likes this. I will take full ownership. “Seriously, God, John Devil made me do it. You know how thinking is! He says pink elephant, and suddenly I have a pink elephant. I can’t not think of pink elephants. Damn you, John. LALALALA.” Anyway, back to being God. All things that exist, or don’t exist but are merely symbolic representations of things that exist, and don’t exist, are all contained in a God state. Whether the total sum of that is defined as an infinity or eternity, in essence everything that was, is, and will be is contained in God, and by definition is God.
More on that last point. By this perspective, there is only God, no other thing. There can be only One, Highlander. You, by definition, are God pretending to be you. This is not a new concept. I am not the originator, I am merely playing with this concept. God, being by definition isolated- there is no other- wanted experiences of being separate, not unity- and so God deceived Herself into being humans, and every other thing God imagined. So if we are God, deceived into believing we are all individuated consciousness so that we could experience others, then it is reasonable to assume that enlightenment is by definition self-deceiving.
