Family Inheritance of Crazy

I have heard many people say, “my family is so crazy, I should write a book.” Hell, I have heard my own family members, lamenting about how life struggles were so bad, they should write a book. Some of the people who have unpacked their lives in my office, they had so many struggles and bad shit happening, even if they penned it all down, it might not be believed. It is true that some people overcome some adversity. Many don’t. By definition. Fortunately, I am not going to discuss adversity- this is just my typical lead in tangent to introduce you to a new level of craziness.

Have you ever felt like your life is an experiment? I mean like, people are experimenting on you kind of experiment? Alien and military abductions level experiments? Medical people experimenting? (They don’t call it practicing medicine for nothing.) I can, and have, made an argument for these things in my life. I am not saying they absolutely are- just saying, I have had some experiences that, well… Would likely result in me having a mental health diagnosis if it wasn’t for discernment. I had paranormal experiences that I kept to myself because, well, fuck, Church of Christ was insane. They had already informed me my paternal grandparents were going to hell because they were Baptists. They had instructed me to not watch ‘Bewitched’ because magic is of the devil. I was told not to even watch Star Trek; basically aliens and evolution was against God. I nearly converted to atheism; I was not giving up Trek!
