Is it just the priests who are called to battle evil, or are all of us called?

In terms of spirituality, I can make an argument that I have had at least two spiritual interventions. An intervention, in my experience, is when things seemed so dire that it was necessary for an angel or God to step in and correct things. To correct me. I say two because those were the obvious, no synchronicity being misunderstood as coincidence. There were probably a million other lesser interventions that I am just not privy to. I suspect further that I have had more people love me than I ever imagined. Is the battlefield of life really as black and white as Father Reehil makes it.

I am not a saint. I am not even sufficiently knowledgeable, wise, or smart enough to figure this stuff out. I am the Forest Gump of dabblers in things and am probably just flat out lucky that the only devil to scare me is the jack that came out of the box as I merrily sang along with the chimes as I intentionally wound the lever.
