Hello, Marla. I am glad you wrote that! I believe there are some good teachers. I know some. Even acknowledging that, we can't deny that some, as recently displayed in the news, have some agendas and are causing harm- such as in the school district that made boys of about 8 years of age apologize for being male and rape.

I know there are school districts that can't get good teachers. There are school districts that are failing. Some people are pulling people out of public schools and going for charters. I think some kids that get homeschooled miss out, not just in education, but in terms of socializing. There are teachers that have to use their own money to bring supplies for the kids. That's a huge problem.

Not all parents are in a position to educate their children. In this big mess, and it's a big mess and there's no getting around that, kids are robbed two parent homes because we adults can't get along, they rarely have a parent at home because we all have to work to maintain our individual life stiles, and suddenly- COVID happens, and it reminded us that the only life quality that matters is our time with our children. It's not the governments job or the teacher's job to ensure our kids get what they need. It's ours.
