Perhaps science doesn’t have all the answers and we should be listening to our elders, our ancestors. They had a wisdom we lack.

With the title and kicker of this essay being what it is, you may have already boxed me and this essay into a domain. To the degree we can, let’s limit labeling the domains. There is something important here worth exploring, even if it is just anecdotal. Carl Jung coined the word synchronicity. Fair enough, science would have you believe that word only glorifies coincidence and we should pay no heed. But there is a way of seeing and speaking that seems to reflect a universality to the truth that there is something bigger than us, and we ignore it to our own peril. There is a bigger picture and western science is obsessed with the parts. Fine. Maybe we should examine ‘the part’ of this Hopi Legend of the man with the red hat.
