How COVID is Making us Stupid

If you’re old enough to know what MASH is, imagine watching an episode where the surgeons and nurses are performing in the OR without masks. You would not accept that reality because you know enough about germ theory that you accept the validity of PPEs. The protest against masks is not a protest about science, it’s about confronting ideas of perceived normality. This is something we all confront all the time, our paradigms, but this is not an example of what I would call stupidity. This is just a negotiation with the future.
