Even a cursory, broad glimpse of UFOs in the news and in print over the years reveals at best ignorance of a subject, at worse direct malice. There is humor, perhaps necessary to reduce an unconscious fear- what if there is something to this- but mostly, the jokes comes across as ridicule.
