How Real is Real?

This is not me delving into physics. I suppose it could be. I don’t do math, but I have heard rumor when you collide things to blow things up, you just find energy. That feels like a non-sequitur. What did you think would happen?

Keeping it Real

Did anyone ever tell you to do this? What does this even mean? So, maybe I flirted with someone, they shoot it down with keep it real. My expression of interest was real? Can subtly hinting I like you and want to know more be any more real?

Of course, there are the times when I am walking one direction, fairly quick pace, and someone going the other way at an equally fair pace says “Hey, John. How are you?” And I am at a loss. They kept going. I may have come to a stop. How do I respond? ‘Fine’ doesn’t ever encapsulate me. I am can be super great and ‘fine’ still not be sufficient to capture all my thoughts and feelings and yet, it frequently resolves the social equation formulated by two people passing in a hall. Is this real?

“I Think, Therefore I Am”

Oh, God, I hope not. Seriously, I hope my thoughts are not a reflection of who I truly am and or a commentary on the state of the Universe. Fuck. If God or Aliens or both can read minds, why I am still here? I resonated with a musician I once read saying the prevalence of their thoughts were “God and Sex.” OMG, I love her. I am either a saint, or on the fast track to hell. Minus the rock and roll, drugs, and gratuitous amounts of sex. I am always down for more…
