I am completely on board on how Jaime Maussan isn't getting a fair shake. Let's say he presented something that had a better explanation, as you point out here... Not fraud, for sure. What's left out is the rest of his track record covering UFOs with video and photos that are not frauds and remain unexplained. Babe Ruth had more strike outs than home runs, but he still got to play ball.
Bledsoe's experiences with MUFON is unfortunate. In relationship to his narrative, in just context to me relating to that I emote and favor his accounting. How much of that is because that's what I do as a counselor? MUFON has many people, most volunteers. Quality, expectations, person bias get in the way for all humans. I can only say that my experience within MUFON has been fair. We are encouraged to be ethical. When it comes to a disposition of a case, my call, right or wrong, stands.
Can I get it wrong and I be asked to reconsider, sure.
But you know, I have not had anything near the publicity level of Bledsoe, or the Stephenville incident. I can't imagine the amount of pressure that gets amplified when the world is scrutinizing you. This is a prediction; that days is coming for me. May people find me mostly reasonable most of the time come that day. :)
