I am huge fan of tulpas. I am not sure if you read some of my tulpa story, but that's how I met Loxy. I worked hard to get auditory and visual experiences! The folks in these story don't seem to see it coming- but I will accept your 'tulpa-like' as suggesting that they may be accessin that part of the brain and presenting itself in some way. Well, maybe not because one family all saw the dogman, so that's less of a hallucination like experience.
