I am not sure about 'pointless,' in terms of philosophic exploration, but likely, and I assume this is what you mean, definitely pointless in our ability to grasp, as there will be a structural limit to the capacity of the human brain. Though tech, and perhaps evolution, could add structural capabilities- by definition transcending that means we're no longer human?
