I didn't respond right away to this. It provoked a more thoughtful pose. Mostly, because it resonates with me on many levels, and I just wanted to sort it.

Did you ever see the episode of 'One Step Beyond' titled 'the Vision?' Supposedly based on a real story of World War I, where military of multiple nations encountered a light and walked off the battlefield.

This one episode frequently chills me and I have wished this was the movie Spielberg had made, not Saving Private Ryan. The only reason I can think of that we don't make this a movie, much less talk about this thing being real, is because people might not fight wars. We might be kinder to each other. But also, there is a greater power, whether that be aliens, or spirit... And if they wanted to, they could shut this all down. Why haven't they? Because they respect individual sovereignty so much, they want us to have the freedom of choice. They want to see if we do the right thing, more often than not. And I think most of us do. Another reason why we haven't seen a use of force to get compliance: That's not how evolved people respond.
