And, I think your premise here, which relates to mine, is that this demonstrates alien good intentions. They know humans aren't ready precisely because we don't have sufficient integration of subconscious and conscious thoughts, and the monsters we would unleash with Forbidden Planet like tech, or more likely the fundamental property of the universe CONSCIOUSENESS...

Do we we evolve into that? If we're not ready, do we self destruct? Is human civilization rising and falling and rising evidence that we keep rising to this threshold and starting over? Or, even better- are we their children? Imagine your theory to be spot on 100 percent- How do you teach children with godlike abilities not to harm others? Well, you slow down their thoughts for starters. Maybe put a time delay between thoughts and conscious manifestation of thoughts, and you put them in human body containers so they can experience the pain or pleasure that they create in a time frame sufficiently slowed down they can learn without destroying themselves. Death is not the end of us, and so if we don't mature, we have to come back and live another life and so on... until we're adults.
