I think I addressed your very question in the article. I am aware that people are treating PTSD with cannabis. I am an advocate for this! I am advocate for cannabis being legal. I am not trying to take anything away. And still, with anything humans do, there are pros and cons, and there needs to be more studies, and you're absolutely right- no one has done any studies because of the legality of it- which is the real insult, because there is real benefit for most people using cannabis. There is also limit to benefit. And so, when people who were deriving benefit max out at upwards of a gram or more a day, and they still have sleep issues and anxiety issues, they then seek additional remedies.

I work in mental health. I see these folks. I have friends that use, and their is a range from socially, to medicinally, to OMG, that's a lot... What's a lot? Well, I don't know! There are no studies. So the only measure applicable at this time is if a person is using a lot, symptoms are increasing, there is still suffering or decline in ability of life functioning- then one has to consider new options. I would like this measure to be less subjective.

And there are conditions that don't go well with cannabis use... Some people get symptoms with use that in the absence of use may look like something else.

But yeah, you have valid points. I am for use. Informed use. Like in Texas, until it's legal- you take a risk because some people are mixing stuff with it to make the high better- like K2, and formaldehyde... Some of the stuff they mix have killed people. So again, I am very clear- I want it legal. Hell, I want it free. I want people to be able to grow it themselves if they want.
