Time has been a problematic thing to pin down. We have a measure for it that is reasonably objective, but enough anecdotal, subjective experiences with it that we agree it’s a variable. There is scientific evidence for it varying, that’s it’s not a universal experience, but a local experience. Velocity and gravity affect time. Einstein on time: “People like us who believe in physics know that the distinction between past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.” That seems to align well with Tesla idea of energy, frequency and vibration, which almost begs there be a component of time, but once again this idea of ‘no time is being bantered around by the media, as if they’ve discovered this new thing, Time might not exist — but that’s okay.
When it comes to articles of time, afterlife, or UFOs, one has to make jokes. There is something tangible to time. There is something mysterious about time. There seems to be nothing to time at all, and yet it can be wasted, saved, and whiled away. You need time to have a song, or all the notes get played at once.
Sam Baron’s article discusses the dilemma of time from a physicist having a crisis point of view. Theories of gravity seem to eradicate time. Theories of everything that include gravity, seem to negate time. The variability of time is so palpable we need…
