In one of your images, the card "You must go through the darkest night in order to get to the infinite light..." reminds me of a quote from Carl Jung. "we do not become enlightened by imagining beings of lights. In order to get to the light, you must run towards the shadows. The light's on the other side."

Shadow work is essential. Darkness, problems, trials and tribulations, are more than just challenges and opportunities, they are the gatekeepers and milestones on our journey to maturity. I like the word maturity over perfection, because even as I mature, i am still subject to imperfections, which is just more gatekeepers reminded me, not there yet.
