So, today you get a little insider information on John. He’s a little frustrated. Mind you, he is aware that lots of people out there are having bad days. All those folks snowed in, and without power, I am actually worried about that. The weather likely influenced me not getting my son this week, too, but small thing relatively speaking. It’s also holiday season, so that always plays a part. Several equipment failures at home. On the way to work today, my dashboard quit. I turn around to go to the shop, it comes back on, I turn to proceed to work, it goes off… And then I see the tornado???

Okay, it wasn’t a tornado, but on the other side of this, the east side going west on 30, it was a solid black pillar of smoke… Driving and taking photos and videos didn’t work. I pulled over and recorded this thing, west side of it, which had broken up and was this lovely, dark, ominous rain looking like cloud sucking up from the earth.

Not a tornado, as no cyclonic movement. No turning winds. It seemed stationary. It was just rising air? I saw no evidence of fire. That wasn’t smoke rising… Pretty sure it wasn’t. Everywhere else, was perfectly, clear, nice, cold, morning air.

I wish I had the whole thing because it was initially ominous as all get out. I am hoping other people caught…
