It seems no matter how many times I come at this in fresh light, it is a very complex, human drama. Leaving stuff out of the book because it might offend someone, evidence of lingering Victorian modalities? Stanton Friedman wanting to be left out... The oddity of the news paper misplacing or destroying all the files to a story that clearly had the greatest impact on sales ever? Who does that? Oh. NASA? :)

I am interested in National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomenon (NICAP). Almost sounds like AATIP. I wonder how many programs like NICAP and AATIP there have actually been, and if nothing more, how this doesn't suggest that clearly there are some folks that accept the reality of phenomenon that needs to be studied.
