Keep Calm, Remain Strong, And Love

And lest I forget, have a bag of tricks to pass through this dark comedy of life.

What are the cliche things to say when you need a quick cheer? Darkest before dawn comes to mind. I find, for myself, that I am more often stirred up into fear when I am alone and triggered by memes. When I am with others, whether with friends or at work, more often than not I am level headed. Oh, I have some folks, family and friends, that can push some buttons, no doubt. If they get a coke out of me, I am almost always want to make them drink that thing. I am human, unfortunately. Is there a recipe for making it a little further down the road of life without blowing up?

Out of all the things that have consistently given me joy, I would say Star Trek is first and foremost. When I think of a bright future, I see Star Trek. We live in peace. All basic human needs are met. We are free to evolve in many emotionally intellectual ways. Those two are not mutually exclusive. Science without soul is simply devoid of love. Anyone can follow a recipe. Cooks make it taste good. Like Water for Chocolate, for sure.
