Living with Telepaths and Empaths

I am fairly empathic. I am not a true empath, I have just learned to read a room pretty quick. It was a necessary survival skill in my family of origin. If the matriarch of the household was happy, everyone was happy. If she was not, things could be spectacularly bad in a myriad of ways. Passive aggressive was a product of that environment, because most people couldn’t move straight- you had to come at people sideways because direct resulted in being clobbered, emotionally, verbally, and sometimes physically.

Being a partial empath can suck for humans, as we tend to take on other people’s pain and stress and when not knowing, we assume we’re anxious. Right now, the whole world is experiencing some anxiety, and quite a few of us are ringing like bells, even though there is no smoke in our own homes. There is enough smoke in the world, everyone should be ringing…

Yes, John, I can here you. You don’t have to yell.

And so, being a partial ‘empath,’ I naturally wonder, because of how curious I am, if it is true that aliens are telepathic or empathic, are we humans just too loud for them? Like you know how hearing impaired people can be too loud, not out of any maliciousness, but because they’re impaired and they never learned ‘normal’ sound protocols. Or better, like those folks that drive with the volume so loud in their cars your dishes resonate like time…
