Lucid Dreaming
My friend Bob, yes, his real name, Doctor Bob I suppose if you want to show deference to the fact he is a retired psychiatrist, but as a friend, I can say friend… Ah, me and my rambling. I ramble with him. We both ramble. He’s in 80s. I am in my 50s. We both act like we’re 12… What can I say, we boys will be boys! We’re both discussing, sharing our dreams. We’re both practicing lucid dreaming. I can do it. I have done it. I would like to maintain a practice without being obsessively compulsive about it. But I assure you, lucid dreaming is real, and has been confirmed by science.
“Sleep researcher Michelle Carr says she can transform herself into a dolphin during her lucid dreams,” shares David Robson, (Sun 14 Nov 2021 02.00 EST,) in his article Can lucid Dreaming Help Us Understand Consciousness? Doctor Bob forwarded it to me to read. You see the ‘transform’ up there. In the article it’s misspelled. Am I giving David grief for that? No! Of course not. It’s just one word. I misspell lots of words.
I wonder if there is a place in my brain that has all the correct spellings, and if I were able to remember the next time I am lucid- can I go to the control room of my brain and update the personality program to spell things correctly 100 percent of the time and my spelling would…
