I am frequently surprised, maybe a little amused, when people dismiss concepts because of science, only for science to say it’s a real thing. I don’t see it as a point of ridicule, but a reminder that though we can know things, even with a degree of certainty, there is still room for error. There is evidence to support Nikola Tesla was a bit fringe, maybe even nutty, but then we also keep finding applications based on his work, and invoking his name in new products.
