Meaning of Life
Victor Frankl said to go beyond self-actualization, you must define or discover meaning.
In the beginning there was darkness; God said, ‘let there be light.’ Can that be interpreted to mean, there was suffering, but then God said let there be love? Taking this meme a bit further, let’s say all emotions existed in God. Fear, love, and everything in between was all there but without form, or context. What if the meaning of life, our lives, is to give the existence of emotional frequencies a context? In giving them a context, we compartmentalize suffering and allow a place where there is only love. By defining context to explain, we also provide a method of overcoming, or rising out of negative emotions into positive. Where do we go from here?
Based on this idea, we humans and our human experiences are the narrative therapy for God to overcome the darkness within. If God contains everything, even the darkness within us is in God. We, then, as an extension of God are the subtext to spiritual evolution. All of us.
