Meeting Archetypes in Dreams

I am still trying to process a dream from last night. It had stressful content that eventually led to me waking, and wondering, ‘what the heck was that?’ I can link the stress to my thoughts and fears on the present war. Thinking about that now, I am wondering why we as a people have to allow things to come to war before we will start addressing human suffering. Could we eliminate wars if we simply addressed human suffering before it amounted to war? Or, do the states need war, because if humans weren’t suffering, they’d not be able to rally humans to inflict harm?

Do humans improve due to adversity? Is there a human story where that concept isn’t a foregone conclusion?

This image above is of the earliest Medusa, which kind of looks like a Centaur?! I discovered it when searching for a thumbnail, still uncertain on whether or not I would even share this dream in essay form. I definitely needed to write about it either way, and I am hoping a public forum enhances dream recall for future dreams.

I ‘track’ into this particular dream, while exiting a family dream discussing suicide. In the new tangent, I was being selected by a government agency to be a part…
