Entering the Mind’s of Others
Before you go thinking, ‘there goes crazy John again,’ I will have you know this subject was brought to you by science. Yes, you will find science articles linked below. Not me pushing Carl Jung, again, but in truth he should be present in this conversation since he gave the world the Collective Unconscious. Is that what we’re discussing? Telepathy? Nonlocal communication because we are not these brains and bodies neural scientists claim is the be all end all of human exists? No. It might be more sinister than that. Beware, this essay will go dark. Nightmare dark.
Normal, waking life is crazy sometimes. Dreaming life can be insane, mundane, pleasant, scary. I have been scared in dreams, but I have not had a nightmare since age 16. I am going to sort fever dreams as different than nightmares, so that one time when I was sick, watching back to back episodes of the X-Files, that doesn’t count for alien abductions dreams… Does it? The pitch and frequency of show and fever altered the veil just enough to let those guys in?
I suppose, if you were to just look at the article headlines- you’d have to wonder is this real. Are they going to say telepathy? Isn’t that funny and misleading at the same time?
