Near Death Experience
Nancy Rynes’ NDE
The first time I heard Nancy Rynes near death experience, I was thinking she did an Indiana Jones over the hood of the car that hit her, before succumbing to slipping under. The second time I heard her speak, the host and she actually joked about Jones reference. She is easy to listen to and comes across quite reasonable. Life before NDE, she was a scientist wavering between being completely atheist and agnostic, life after- the only relevance in life, we’re here to love. My question is, what does that even mean?
Before I dive into my question, let it be known it is not the intent of this essay to debate NDEs, or the veracity of Nancy’s experience. You can listen to her and decide for yourself. Out of three videos recommended below, I found only one discrepancy. Because of my own nature, had she and I been speaking I would have spent time seeking clarity. The inconsistency relates to normal, every day life- specifically her recollection of details after being run over by a car. I think I can forgive some variance in that instance, as she had just been run over by a car!
In other words, you don’t throw someone under a bus after they’ve already been run over by an SUV.
