No one says going to Mars will be easy or fun. The question is "Can we?" Yes. We have the technology to get us there now and keep us alive. It requires us to do it as a world initiative, not just sponsored by one nation. Our ancestors have endured worse situations. Mars is easy. We can terraform it- if we did global warming here, we can definitely do it there. And we should. If we don't become an interplanetary species, we will go the way of the dinosaurs.
