Between age 17 and 25, I likely wavered on whether or not there were angels. Somewhere in there, closer to 18, I declared myself an atheist. Hard as I tried, that never took. Just watching Joseph Campbell’s the Power of Myth provoked me into complicated spirals of reality where there was room enough for angels, even if they were just metaphorical archetypes.
