Ok. Don't you think that potentiality would have been solved pretty fast? Weather balloons are tracked. We know when they are launched, which is in the morning, same time everyday- all around the world simultaneously. They have transponders, because people want their tech back. And, this looks nothing like the regular balloons, and the big ones... the equipment package wouldn't have let it roll about like this. When they come down, they come down.

The average balloon time is 2 hours aloft. They tend to launch in the morning in the US. This video is shot in the afternoon. There are a limited number of stations. I don't know if Goose Creek has a station that launches, but that would be easily determined by any decent reporter- so the person reporting this failed sighting to do homework. If there is a station there, Goose Creek residents will likely be familiar with balloon. And not likely to be the big kind.

It's interesting though, you see balloons, several others here see flocks of birds, and one of the new reports claimed it was bugs... Lots of speculative answers, but no real thinking or science being employed here. I mean, science like someone using tech and measuring devices to scrutinize the video closer.

So, I am not dismissing your idea- but I know balloons. Can you come at me with more data than it looks like a balloon? The reporter couldn't, and I assume he lives in that area. He went to MUFON. Guess what, MUFON researchers- they're also doing their due diligence. They don't want to look foolish, as that makes MUFON look bad. They would know when local balloons are launched, they would know the estimated time aloft, with wind and speeds- they'd know exactly when and where that balloon would come down- even if it wasn't tracked with transponders.
