Old Souls Make Mistakes, Too

It is said, we learn more from our failures than our successes. More than any time in human history, human mind today is more likely to be distracted or self absorbed. This is not necessarily a bad thing. If this is the life lesson we have come to tackle, it seems reasonable to be focused- even if that focus is on how distracted can I be! Is the number of ‘Scam Likely’ calls a distraction, or a test? Even in the between lives, we’re focused on our own soul growth. We have the elders working with us. We have our soul groups. We collaborate to meet each others needs… And if at every level of existence we’re learning, maturing, it stands to reason we’re all going to step on some toes in this dance.

What is an Old Soul…

I have been told by many, I am old soul. I have fought that. Sometimes I feel old. Sometimes I feel young. I have always felt alone, struggled to fit in- an alien in alien world. I suppose that’s why Stranger in a Strange Land had it’s appeal. Grappling with the old soul concept, I also questioned what that precisely means? Are there new souls? If there was one creation, does that mean all souls came into existence simultaneously? No new souls? Is there a finite number of souls, or do we have new souls arriving?

These are just normal questions people ponder, right?

Life struggles does not denote age
